Job Context
- We are looking for accomplished, empathic general practitioner to join clinic and hospitals in Oman. The general practitioner’s duties include examining patients, diagnosing common illnesses, and administering or prescribing appropriate treatment. You should also be able to address patients’ health-related queries.
Job Responsibilities
- Inspecting and updating patients’ charts.
- Diagnosing common ailments such as colds, flu, hypertension, diabetes, Asthma, UTI etc.
- Prescribing topical, oral, intravenous or intramuscular medication.
- Prescribing apt medications and lifestyle alterations.
- Prescribing appropriate investigation to diagnose disease.
- Referring patients to specialists for further testing and treatment, if needed.
- Creating and issuing invoices to private clients.
- Submitting claims on behalf of patients who have health insurance.
- Anticipating and responding to patients’ wellness-related questions and concerns.

Salary
- Tk. 220000 – 250000 (Monthly)
- Salary – 1000-1200 Oman Riyal
- 1 Oman Riyal = 220 Bangladeshi Taka
